#  A house taken over, a know-how perpetuated. 

A story of enthusiasts, born in Rouen in 1995, and refurbished more than twenty years later.

   Le récitIt all started in Rouen, with Christian Laplanche, a watchmaker passionate about authentic mechanical cuckoo clocks from the Black Forest. For years, he brought this little piece of Germany to life in his workshop, one clock at a time.

La Maison du Coucou now carries on this heritage, with the same simple requirement: to offer only genuine Hönes and Engstler cuckoo clocks, selected and inspected one by one.

Nothing industrial here — just clocks that have a soul, and that unmistakable song that continues to mark the rhythm of homes as it has for generations.
