Description
The Engstler 45015QM cuckoo clock brings together the charm of the mountain chalet and the simplicity of quartz. Its red roof, its hand-made carvings and its twelve melodies give it a real presence, in a 23 cm format.
The call, the echo and twelve melodies
Made by Engstler in Villingen-Schwenningen, a historic German clockmaking town, this cuckoo clock runs on batteries. On every hour, the bird comes out of its dormer to announce the passing of time, extended by an echo, then one of the twelve melodies follows, different from one hour to the next. In the evening, a light sensor puts the call and the music on standby until morning.
A hand-carved chalet
The case follows the codes of the mountain chalet: a red roof, a shingle roof and hand-carved elements. In front of the house, a beer drinker and a cook frame the wheel, for a scene full of life.
At 23 cm, this cuckoo clock naturally finds its place on a living-room wall, in a hallway or above a chest of drawers. Understated and elegant, it suits a classic interior as well as a more contemporary decor, where it brings a touch of authenticity.
For a scene that comes alive with music, dancers turn alongside the drinker on a chalet with an animated balcony.
