Description
The Engstler 638QM cuckoo clock brings the charm of a carved Black Forest piece, with a musical presence through the hours. Its quartz movement simply runs on batteries, to enjoy the cuckoo clock every day.
A musical quartz movement
This model signed Engstler has a battery-powered quartz movement. The two pine cone weights remain decorative. The 12 melodies follow one another in alternation, from the “Kuckuckwalzer” to the “Salut d'amour”, accompanied by the call of the cuckoo and its echo. The chime stops automatically at night.
Three birds and seven carved leaves
This dark wood cuckoo clock features a large bird with outspread wings at the top and two birds perched on either side of the dial. Seven leaves carved in relief complete the whole: two at the top, two at the level of the birds and three in the lower part. The façade is worked in a grid pattern, with the cuckoo door above the brown dial with cream Roman numerals. The pendulum takes the shape of a leaf.
